Cameroon–Chad

The boundary between Cameroon and Chad was established by German and French Colonial powers in the late 19th century. The majority of the border was delimited in 1908, and a small portion along the Logone River was agreed to in 1911. The boundary runs in a generally north-to-south direction through central Africa following mostly rivers and straight lines for 1,157 km. It has not changed since both States’ independence in 1960.
