Bahrain–Saudi Arabia
Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are opposite States towards the southern end of the Persian/Arabian Gulf. The maritime boundary between them, which was the first to delimit a continental shelf boundary in the Gulf, was established in 1958. The border between them follows a modified equidistance line and the eastern limit of a Saudi Arabian oil field. A revenue sharing area was also defined as part of this Agreement.
