Fiji–Tuvalu

The maritime boundary between the island nations of Fiji and Tuvalu begins at the intersection of their westernmost two hundred nautical mile exclusive economic zone limits and travels on a generally east-southeast bearing for 369 nautical miles across the South Pacific Ocean. In 2014, the two States agreed to an equidistance line as the boundary between their exclusive economic zones and continental shelves. The boundary is equidistant between the basepoints of Fiji’s Rotuma Islands and Tuvalu’s Niulakita, Nui, Nukufetau, Funafuti and Nukulaelae islands. In the same year, Fiji and Tuvalu signed a trilateral agreement with France, on behalf of Wallis & Futuna, which established the location of the tripoint between the three island nations.
