Qatar–Saudi Arabia

Qatar and Saudi Arabia have two maritime boundaries, one in the west that divides the Dawhat Salwá and one in the east, which originates in the Khor Al-Adaid. Between these two maritime boundaries, the two States also share a land boundary. The western maritime boundary was first established in 1965 as part of the Agreement that also defined the land boundary. Their eastern maritime boundary was established in 2008, after a portion of the land boundary had been adjusted to compensate Qatar for its agreement to create a sovereign Saudi maritime corridor to the central Persian/Arabian Gulf.
