Belgium–United Kingdom
The continental shelf boundary between Belgium and the United Kingdom is composed of three straight line segments that connect the tripoint with the Netherlands in the north to the tripoint with France in the south. The boundary, which extends in total for only 22.5 nautical miles, was first delimited in a 1991 Agreement that was based on equidistance calculated using the parties’ normal baselines.
A 2005 Exchange of Notes between the two States added a fourth point in the north to define the tripoint with the Netherlands.
