Micronesia–Papua New Guinea

The maritime boundary between Micronesia and Papua New Guinea extends for 426 nautical miles, on a largely northwest to southeast directional bearing in the western Pacific Ocean. It was initially defined by the two States in 1991 and revised in 2015. The final delimitation consists of 38 coordinate points, consisting of two terminal points and 36 turning points. All defined points have been referenced to the 1984 World Geodetic System (WGS-84).

The maritime boundary is based on the principle of equidistance, and it divides the continental shelves and exclusive economic zones of the two States.
