Bulgaria–Turkey

The maritime boundary between Bulgaria and Turkey in the Black Sea was established through a bilateral agreement that was reached in 1997 and entered into force on 4 November 1998. This maritime border was developed as an all-purpose boundary dividing the overlapping exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and continental shelf entitlements of the Parties.
