Iran–Saudi Arabia

The maritime boundary between Iran and Saudi Arabia was established in a 1968 agreement, which also determined sovereignty over mid-Gulf islands that had previously been in dispute. Most of the maritime boundary is an equidistance line, except where it follows the 12 nautical mile territorial sea around Al-‘Arabiyah and Farsi Islands (points A–D.).
