Myanmar–Thailand

The established portion of the maritime boundary between Myanmar and Thailand extends for 142 nautical miles following an equidistance line from point 1 in the territorial seas of both States to point 9 in the Andaman Sea. It was established through a bilateral agreement that was reached on 25 July 1980. A tripoint with India was established on 27 October 1993, where India agreed to accept point 9 from the Myanmar–Thailand boundary agreement as the tripoint. A portion of territorial sea boundary remains to be delimited by the two States.
