India–Myanmar
The maritime boundary between India and Myanmar runs through the Andaman Sea, Coco Channel, and Bay of Bengal and was established through a bilateral agreement that was reached on 23 December 1986. The boundary separates India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands from the maritime entitlements of Myanmar and follows a modified equidistance line for 593 nautical miles. The boundary begins at Point 1, coincident with the tripoint with Thailand, which was officially established by trilateral agreement that was reached on 27 October 1993.
