Qatar–United Arab Emirates

Qatar and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, part of the United Arab Emirates, agreed to their maritime boundary in 1969. This agreement, which entered into force on the date of signature, accomplished three things: it resolved the sovereignty over several islands, it established a continental shelf boundary, and it created a joint development regime over the al-Bunduq oil field.
