France (Réunion)–Madagascar
Extending for 209 nautical miles through the Indian Ocean, the maritime boundary between the island of Réunion, an overseas department of France, and Madagascar was defined in a 2005 agreement. The boundary, which defines the exclusive economic zones for both countries, follows a series of geodesic arcs that were established based on the principle of equidistance.
