Netherlands (Sint Eustatius)–Saint Kitts & Nevis

The maritime boundary between the Netherland’s Special Municipality of Sint Eustatius and the dual-island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis extends for 75 nautical miles on a largely northeast to southwest directional bearing. The 2024 boundary, agreed to after a decade of negotiations, is based on the principal of equidistance. The boundary is composed of eight turning points interconnected by geodesic line segments. In both the north and the south, the line continues along specified azimuths until reaching waters that pertain to third States. In this instance, Saint Barthélemy (France) to the north and Aves Island (Venezuela) to the south.
