Libya–Tunisia

The border between Libya and Tunisia was first determined by French and Ottoman colonial powers and has remained unchanged since independence. The border was demarcated by French and Turkish surveyors from 1910–1911, and a detailed 1:200,000 scale map series was produced by the French depicting the location of more than 200 boundary pillars. It runs from the Mediterranean coast at Ra’s Ajdir to the tripoint with Algeria north of Gadamis.
